Staff Accountant:  Dorchester County Library, St George Headquarters, 40 hours per week.  This is a permanent, full-time position.
Requirements:  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or closely related field.  A minimum of 3 years experience in accounting and a high proficiency in QuickBooks.
Preferred Qualifications include:  Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or being a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
This position handles all operational accounting - AP/General Ledger/Fixed Assets/Payroll, etc.  Must have excellent organization, computer and communication skills.  Must possess a valid state driver's license.
Salary:  $41,721 - $62,580.  Full State benefits.  SC Retirement System.
