Leading Change

Two of our staff members attended a "Lead the Change"  professional development conference in Charleston, SC, in August.  Read as Rebecca Westfall shares her experience from that conference.
The Importance of “Why?”
Socrates is quoted as saying, “the unexamined life is not worth living.” His phrase, “not worth living,” sounds extreme to me, but it rightly emphasizes the value of self-examination. To encourage self-examination among library leaders and library organizations, Library Journal and The BA David Company sponsored a library leadership event, Lead the Change, presented around the country in 2015.
